Our rosé wines display lovely salmon and pale pink colours. The bouquet presents a wide variety of fruits (fresh, exotic, red, white and yellow), enhanced by floral, mineral or spicy notes. On the palate, these wines are balanced, with a long, fresh attack (without however dominating) followed by a finish with a delicate, mouth-watering bitterness which makes these rosés particularly suited to food pairings.
With their deep ruby colours, our red wines present the intense notes of dark berries and spices which are characteristic of Syrah, the main varietal used in blends.
They are balanced and full-bodied with lovely density. These reds pair perfectly with slow-cooked dishes such as stews.
They also have excellent cellaring potential (5 to 10 years).
Côtes de Provence Notre-Dame des Anges wines are developed according to the blending rules laid down in the DGC’s specifications. Eleven varietals are allowed, including three main varietals – Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah – and eight ancillary varietals – Mourvèdre, Tibouren, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, Clairette, Sémillon, Ugni Blanc and Vermentino.
